HydroCities

As the recipient of the Hart Howerton Travel Fellowship, I was awarded a full scholarship to travel to Northern Europe to research how cities in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands have used innovative design practices to rebuild their industrial waterfronts into clean environments for recreation and dwelling.

The culmination of my research was a book I wrote called HydroCities, which brings together comparative case studies and best practices of environmental design, as well as interviews with leading designers, engineers, and policy-makers from Europe and the United States.

The book is available for purchase here
